Everyone needs a hero sometimes, pets included—and across the country, pet lovers are stepping up to help. We couldn’t let those heroes go unnoticed, so, we collaborated with our friends at Chewy to highlight the people and organizations doing the work to change pet lives. Our monthly “Heroes of the Month” series features the people, as well as shelters and rescues from across the U.S. that continue to make a difference in animal welfare. They’ve gone above and beyond to ensure that animals in need are loved and cared for, and we are so thankful for their presence.
