From left to right in the photo above is Astro, Brody, Azalea, and Buddy. They are all dogs who were rescued by the amazing Companion Animal Alliance of Baton Rouge, Louisiana who goes the extra mile to care for so many dogs in their parish. Their grant application calls attention to a whopping 28% of their adult dog intake being heartworm positive. The grant they received from Adopt-a-Pet.com’s Veterinary Care Fund will allow them to treat 30 dogs so they can find the loving forever homes they deserve!
